  • Costal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL)

    The first Ultra Mega Power Project (UMPP) of India, Mundra UMPP worth INR 18,000 Cr. only was awarded to Tata Power. The project had 5 units of 800 MW each, generating a total of 4,000 MW using supercritical technology and 40,000 MT /day imported coal. TCE Limited, Bangalore was appointed as engineering consultant to Tata Power.

  • Greening Of Egyptian Desert

    Kirloskar Brothers Limited's (KBL) association with Egypt started in the year 1989 with an order of erecting and commissioning of 4 pumping stations in the South Quaronn area. These stations included vertical pumps and motor ratings along with delivery pipe fittings for the General Authority for Rehabilitation Project and Agricultural Development (GARPAD).

  • Kirloskar Pumps Yield Bumper Crops In LAO PDR

    In the 1980s the Mekong River was untapped and the country relied on rain water for their rice production. In 1984, the Indian President gifted 22 Kirloskar Diesel Pumps to the President of Lao PDR. The pumps worked effectively to increase the rice production during the dry season.
