Ahmedabad Plant – Kirloskar Brothers Limited
KBL’s Sanand plant was established in 2012 near Ahmedabad, Gujarat – “The submersible Capital of India”. The plant is a standalone factory exclusively established for the manufacturing of submersible range of pumps. The factory has end to end capabilities right from designing and manufacturing to testing and packing of pumps catering to all categories of users mainly agricultural and domestic segment.
The plant is equipped with state of the art Machining setup, CED coating setup, computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.
Most of the KBL-Sanand products are ISI and BEE certified. The KBL-Sanand plant holds sustainability as a key business strategy. It abides by the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Energy and Social Accountability Management System certification. It is a zero-water discharge and water neutral organisation. The Sanand plant is GreenCo. “SILVER” certified manufacturing facility.

Established in 2011, KBL’s Kaniyur plant is located in the ‘Pump City of Asia’ – Coimbatore. The plant is dedicated for the manufacturing of the company’s domestic range of pumps. It is world’s first and only pump manufacturing plant to deploy 100% women workforce in its manufacturing set-up. The plant is equipped with computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.
Of the many achievements to its credit, the all-women team at the factory holds the astonishing record of assembling a pump in a record time of 17.25 seconds, a feat that has been acknowledged by the Limca Book of Records.

Kirloskar Brothers Limited, Dewas (M.P), established in 1962, is the company’s first manufacturing facility exclusively intended for the production of agricultural, domestic and industrial pumps up to 30 HP. It is the second manufacturing plant started by KBL after the establishment of its parent manufacturing facility in Kirloskarvadi way back in 1910. KBL’s Dewas plant houses excellent design, development, manufacturing and testing facilities. The plant is the pioneer in introducing advanced technologies like CED coating, computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.
