Ahmedabad Plant – Kirloskar Brothers Limited
KBL’s Sanand plant was established in 2012 near Ahmedabad, Gujarat – “The submersible Capital of India”. The plant is a standalone factory exclusively established for the manufacturing of submersible range of pumps. The factory has end to end capabilities right from designing and manufacturing to testing and packing of pumps catering to all categories of users mainly agricultural and domestic segment.
The plant is equipped with state of the art Machining setup, CED coating setup, computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.
Most of the KBL-Sanand products are ISI and BEE certified. The KBL-Sanand plant holds sustainability as a key business strategy. It abides by the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Energy and Social Accountability Management System certification. It is a zero-water discharge and water neutral organisation. The Sanand plant is GreenCo. “SILVER” certified manufacturing facility.

Established in 2011, KBL’s Kaniyur plant is located in the ‘Pump City of Asia’ – Coimbatore. The plant is dedicated for the manufacturing of the company’s domestic range of pumps. It is world’s first and only pump manufacturing plant to deploy 100% women workforce in its manufacturing set-up. The plant is equipped with computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.
Of the many achievements to its credit, the all-women team at the factory holds the astonishing record of assembling a pump in a record time of 17.25 seconds, a feat that has been acknowledged by the Limca Book of Records.
The KBL-Coimbatore plant holds sustainability as a key business strategy. It abides by the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Energy and Social Accountability Management System certification. It is a GreenCo “SILVER” certified manufacturing facility.

Kirloskar Brothers Limited, Dewas (M.P), established in 1962, is the company’s first manufacturing facility exclusively intended for the production of agricultural, domestic and industrial pumps up to 30 HP. It is the second manufacturing plant started by KBL after the establishment of its parent manufacturing facility in Kirloskarvadi way back in 1910. KBL’s Dewas plant houses excellent design, development, manufacturing and testing facilities. The plant is the pioneer in introducing advanced technologies like CED coating, computerised testing setup and semi-mechanised assembly setup for pump manufacturing.

Kirloskarvadi plant, established in 1910, is Kirloskar Brothers Limited’s (KBL’s) mother plant, which houses manufacturing facilities starting from foundry to machining, assembly and testing of various types of pumps ranging from 5 KW to 4500 KW.
KBL’s mother plant is well-equipped with all the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing and technological capabilities. It is home to Asia’s only 3-D printing machine for pump modelling. The factory houses Asia’s largest state-of-the-art hydraulic testing facility for testing centrifugal pumps of all sizes. The campus also houses the manufacturing facility of one of KBL’s oldest subsidiaries, Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited (KEPL).
The Kirloskarvadi plant is located near Sangli, Maharashtra, off the Mumbai-Bangalore (NH4) highway. The industrial township is spread across a vast expanse of 150 acres of land area, which covers the factory and residential area. The residential area includes basic medical facilities, school, recreation hall and play grounds. It is home to one of India’s first industrial townships which, today, comprises a housing colony of over 250 families who have access to all the modern residential amenities, living a healthy and uber lifestyle.
The Kirloskarvadi plant is a green facility committed towards reducing resource consumption and minimising waste while considering the life-cycle costs of products. Over 42% of the total energy consumed within the plant. With over of its premises covered under the green belt, Kirloskarvadi is one of those rare manufacturing facilities where there is enough space for the coexistence of all three – flora, fauna and humans. The facility has been the proud winner of the CII GreenCo Gold Award, which is a reflection of its commitment towards implementation of environment management practices in a sustainable manner.

The dedicated automated testing facility is capable of testing KBL’s entire range of existing in-line pumps, especially HYPN systems. It is well-equipped with all the latest state-of-the-art testing technologies necessary for ensuring assured precision and superior inspection standards.
Shirwal Plant – Kirloskar Brothers Limited
Kirloskar Brothers Limited’s (KBL’s) Shirwal plant, established in 2014, is the company’s dedicated pump testing facility.
The dedicated automated testing facility is capable of testing KBL’s entire range of existing in-line pumps, especially HYPN systems. It is well-equipped with all the latest state-of-the-art testing technologies necessary for ensuring assured precision and superior inspection standards.
Kolhapur Plant – The Kolhapur Steel Limited
The Kolhapur Steel Limited (TKSL) entered the steel foundry industry in 1965 and was later acquired by Kirloskar Brothers Limited) in 2007. TKSL was founded with a goal of providing high quality steel castings. On an average, the company currently produces 6000 MT steel castings per annum in the weight range of 300 Kg – 14000 Kg (single piece).
With an aim to expand its operations further, the company, over the years, has installed and commissioned new machineries in its foundry, such as LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace) of 14 MT capacity, induction furnaces of 12 and 8 MT, EOT cranes, automatic rapid quenching heat treatment furnace, etc. The company is thus well-equipped with all the necessary equipment and relevant technologies required to stay aligned with the changing customer requirements
The company’s primary motto is to ensure timely supply of products and satisfy customer’s needs with consistent quality. It is located off the Pune-Bangalore highway (NH4) near Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

Kirloskar Corrocoat Private Limited (KCPL) is a joint venture company between Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) and Corrocoat Ltd., U.K., the world leaders and pioneers in glass flake-filled technology coatings. KCPL’s production facility is located at Kirloskarvadi.
In the year 1993, KBL entered into a license agreement with Corrocoat Ltd., U.K, for the development of anti-corrosion products. The division was engaged in carrying out application of anti-corrosion coatings with products imported from Corrocoat Ltd., U.K. In 1997, with growing demand, coating manufacturing was started in India at Kirloskarvadi. Later, in April 2006, this association blossomed into a joint venture company.
Today after over two decades of successful track record, KCPL has emerged into a first choice provider of long term corrosion protection and energy conservation products and solutions to the industry.
KCPL is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified organisation dedicated towards manufacturing a variety of glass flake-filled coating formulations specially designed and developed to provide peak performance of the assets with the unique aim to integrate productivity and profit.
KCPL manufactures a vast variety of glass flake filled coating formulations based on epoxy, iso-phthalic polyester, polyester, vinyl ester etc. These coatings are manufactured at the company’s Kirloskarvadi facility, which is fully equipped to execute coating supply plus application work with latest in-house technologies.
