The Mahan Super Thermal Power Project in Singrauli, operated by Adani Mahan Energen Ltd, is one of Madhya Pradesh’s largest power initiatives. Phase I includes two 600 MW supercritical units supplying 1,200 MW to the state. The ongoing Phase II expansion adds two 800 MW supercritical units, while the proposed Phase III will take the plant’s total capacity to 4,400 MW, making it a major contributor to India’s energy landscape.

Kirloskar Brothers Limited has supported this critical expansion by supplying vertical turbine pumps for Phase II. These pumps ensure efficient, reliable water management, essential for the performance of upcoming supercritical units.
