KBL develops the largest Horizontal Split Case Pump for CW application

Technological innovation has always been the driving force for Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL).

We are pleased to announce that recently KBL has developed and successfully tested the largest Horizontal split case pump in the History of KBL in the presence of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) team.

This is for the first time that such a large size Horizontal split case pump for CW application has been developed and tested against the global competition.

The salient features of the pump are:

Pump model no: UPH 1200/160M-Qty - 3 nos

Flow rate: 25000 m^3/hr

Head: 27.5 mwc

Motor rating: 2700 kW / 425 rpm

Application: CW (sea water)

MOC: Austenitic Iron 15% Ni (ASTMA 436) / CF8M impeller/ SS 316L (ASTM A 473) shaft

With supply of this pump KBL will have a very good reference for large Horizontal split case pump that too with special metal!
