KCPL bags its first EPC Order for Pipe Corrocoating

Kirloskar Corrocoat Private Limited (KCPL) has bagged its first EPC contract for Pipe Internal and external Corrocoating from M/s. Lanco Infratech Ltd for their Seawater Intake Pipeline.

The project will be executed at M/s.Udipi Power Corporation Limited’s 2 x 607.5 MW Power Plant Project site at Udipi, Karnataka. This is a replacement Order for GRP Pipeline. Also Order for pipe external coating was bagged against stiff competition from international Coating manufacturers.

The Project valued at 65 Million is for coating 1.2 M dia. and 5.7 Km of pipe line both internally and externally with KCPL’s proven Polyglass 100 glass flake filled coating system. The project is to be executed in 70 days under “All Weather Condition” basis.

KCPL’s trusted field execution expertise & infrastructure mobilization skills proved the deciding factor in clinching the order. The proven track record of Polyglass 100 in service in India for last 18 years and more than 30 years worldwide in seawater application was a supporting factor.
