Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a market leader in manufacturing and supply of pumps for various industries and end-consumers, will be participating in India - Cambodia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Myanmar (CLMV) Business Conclave. The 4th India-CLMV Business Conclave will be held during 27 - 28 February at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The event will include sectorial sessions, country sessions and business-to-business meetings. KBL, through this platform, will be highlighting its technological capabilities in the irrigation and water management sectors. KBL has a significant presence and has been operating in CLMV countries since a long time. The company’s Irrigation division has been providing fluid handling solutions for various large irrigation projects, which have helped many countries and states in achieving food sufficiency. The strength of the company’s Irrigation division lies in successfully executing project management right “from concept to commissioning." KBL offers a wide range of pumps that find wide extensive applications in water resource management, including sewage management, flood control, water distribution, sea-water handling, etc. The event has been organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and Government of India. The CLMV countries have lot of potential for bilateral trade and inward investment. The Government of India, under its “Act East Policy,” has laid major focus on these countries as they provide substantial investment opportunities for Indian companies. The event is also expected to act as vital business link between rest of the ASEAN region and India. It will focus on sectors such as pharma, healthcare, agri business, food processing, infrastructure, gems & jewellery, textiles, mining, leather and renewable energy.
