Kirloskar Brothers Limited is a socially responsible organization focused on achieving sustainable growth. Being morally and ethically responsible to not just business operations but also to the society at large, KBL focuses on ensuring highest standards of ethics embedded in its business model for fulfilling its commitment towards its Corporate Social Responsibility.
At KBL, CSR is a way of life. The company is focused on enriching lives of all its stake holders and society at large. It practices CSR both in-house and for the society. KBL undertakes all its CSR operations and initiatives through its dedicated charitable arm, Vikas Charitable Trust (VCT), which is headed by Mrs. Pratima Kirloskar.

In House Initiatives
KBL’s Corporate Office – Yamuna, is a LEED certified Platinum rated Green Building, one of the rare building structures in India to hold this prestige. KBL’s Kirloskarvadi, Dewas, Sanand, Kaniyur and Kondapuri plants are all ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 Energy Management System certified. KBL practices Sustainability at all levels and a comprehensive report for all stake holders is published annually to ensure best practices.
Society Initiatives
KBL conducts an array of CSR activities and campaigns throughout the year. For CSR contributions, KBL’s primary focus is on three areas: Education, Healthcare, and Environment. These CSR initiatives are undertaken through two non-profit organisations: Vikas Charitable Trust and Sou. Radhabai Trust.
