AQUATECH AMSTERDAM 2008 (Sept 30 – Oct 3’08), AMSTERDAM RAI Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Aquatech Amsterdam 2008, organised by Amsterdam RAI shows, is the world’s leading trade exhibition on process, drinking and waste water technology. The exhibition programme provides an extensive overview of the latest developments in the fields of:

• Water treatment

• Transport and storage

• Process control and process automation

• Point of use Global giants ITT, Norit and I Global Water were sponsoring partners.

The event observed 4200 exhibitors from over 850 companies with a host of new products & solutions. The exhibition recorded a high of 23,000 visitors / professionals from 133 different countries. On the busiest day of the exhibition, Wednesday 1 October, over 5,500 visitors passed through the doors of the RAI. The opening by the Indian Minister of Water Resources symbolized the efforts of the global water industry to face up to water shortages.

KBL’s grand participation in Aquatech with a centrally focused customized stand of 154 sqm witnessed a staggering victory. This is the first time in its history; KBL has exhibited in the international market in such a majestic way. It was an excellent start as a marketing effort for Kirloskar Brothers Europe B.V. to jumpstart its entry officially in the Netherlands & the European market. KBL received overwhelming response with a number of interesting visitors & potential customers. KBL made its presence felt at large which has made the competition very anxious & curious.

KBL has been expanding its operations in Europe for the last 3 years now & has been participating in major trade shows like the Power-Gen Europe & Aquatech year after year. This is nothing but a sign of its growing presence in the European continent.
