Essar Power is setting up Power plant (2 x 600 MW) at Vadinar dist. in Gujarat.

The plant will use sea water for Cooling purpose. The pipeline handling sea water needs Corrosion protection. KCPL has successfully completed first order for Internal lining of Sea Water Pipeline of 3.6m,3.2 m & 2 dia with their well proven Polyglass 100 which is a Isophathalic polyester / acrylic co-polymer filled with glass flakes.Approx. Area coated is 23000 m2.

Based on the performance, Essar Construction (I) Ltd. has now entrusted KCPL with larger order for 48000 m2. The Sea Water Pipeline of dia. 1.2, 1.9 & 2 mtr will be coated at site.
