KCPL have received order from LANCO INFRATECH for their Udupi Thermal Power Corporation (2 x 507.5 MW) at Udupi in Karnataka.

KCPL will provide the protecting of the concrete surface of Forebay and Channels of CW Pump house. Plasmet ZE system (an epoxy glass flake filled coating) will be used for the protection of concrete surface.Plasmet ECP is used as a primer followed by one coat of Plasmet ZE.

Total area to be coated is 23000 m2.
